Description

Goodyear Efficientgrip Aoe (Run Flat) – low rolling resistance with wet safetyThe Goodyear Efficientgrip Aoe (Run Flat) in 255/40 R19 100Y is a fuel-efficient tyre built for low rolling resistance with wet safety. In South Africa it is a popular choice for premium-brand drivers looking for a dependable tyre at this size. Looking for this size? The Goodyear Efficientgrip Aoe (Run Flat) is available as 255/40R19 – the same fitment you may see written as 255/40R19, 255 40 19. Every tyre is supplied new and can be fitted at one of our partner fitment centres or delivered nationwide. Key features & benefitsFuel saving – Low rolling resistance compound reduces fuel consumption and CO2 emissions. Wet braking – ActiveBraking Technology widens the contact patch under braking for shorter wet stops. Long tread life – Durable compound resists fast wear. Quiet ride – Optimised pattern keeps cabin noise low. OEM fitment – Fitted as original equipment on many fuel-efficient cars. Run-flat construction – Reinforced sidewall lets you keep driving up to 80 km at 80 km/h after a puncture, so a flat does not leave you stranded. Extra Load (XL) sidewall – Reinforced construction carries higher loads, suiting heavier vehicles, towing and full loads. Load index & speed rating explainedThe load index 100 means each tyre can carry up to 800 kg, so a set of four supports roughly 3,200 kg. The speed rating Y approves this tyre for sustained speeds up to 300 km/h. Y-rated tyres are approved for sustained speeds above 240 km/h. Marked XL (Extra Load), this size carries a reinforced sidewall for heavier vehicles and full loads. Marked run-flat, it can be driven on after a puncture for up to 80 km at 80 km/h.
