Description

Bridgestone Turanza T005 (Run Flat) – premium touring comfort and quiet runningThe Bridgestone Turanza T005 (Run Flat) in 255/30 R20 92Y is a passenger tyre built for premium touring comfort and quiet running. In South Africa it is a popular choice for premium-brand drivers looking for a dependable tyre at this size. Looking for this size? The Bridgestone Turanza T005 (Run Flat) is available as 255/30R20 – the same fitment you may see written as 255/30R20, 255 30 20. Every tyre is supplied new and can be fitted at one of our partner fitment centres or delivered nationwide. Key features & benefitsQuiet ride – Optimised tread pattern and pitch sequencing cut road noise noticeably. Long wear life – NanoPro-Tech compound reduces heat and friction for higher mileage. Wet braking – High-angle grooves and compound shorten wet stopping distances. Fuel efficiency – Low rolling resistance for better fuel economy. Comfortable ride – Flexible sidewall smooths out rough tar. Run-flat construction – Reinforced sidewall lets you keep driving up to 80 km at 80 km/h after a puncture, so a flat does not leave you stranded. Extra Load (XL) sidewall – Reinforced construction carries higher loads, suiting heavier vehicles, towing and full loads. Load index & speed rating explainedThe load index 92 means each tyre can carry up to 630 kg, so a set of four supports roughly 2,520 kg. The speed rating Y approves this tyre for sustained speeds up to 300 km/h. Y-rated tyres are approved for sustained speeds above 240 km/h. Marked XL (Extra Load), this size carries a reinforced sidewall for heavier vehicles and full loads. Marked run-flat, it can be driven on after a puncture for up to 80 km at 80 km/h.
